Who do we look for
At StudyLift, we’re building a community of driven, responsible, and globally minded students who are ready to make the most of their time in the Netherlands. Not everyone is a fit — and that’s okay. We work best with students who show initiative and meet a few key criteria.
You are not currently employed in the Netherlands
We’re looking for students who are seeking their first professional opportunity in the Dutch market — not those already working elsewhere.
You speak a second European language (besides English)
Whether it’s Spanish, German, Romanian, or French — we value linguistic versatility. Many of our roles involve multicultural content or international brand development.
You are enrolled at a Dutch university or applied sciences institution
Full-time students with valid residence permits (if required) are encouraged to apply. You should be in good academic standing and planning to stay for the full academic year.
You are available for part-time, remote work (approx. 8–12 hours/week)
We understand the demands of student life, which is why our opportunities are flexible — but we do look for a minimum commitment to ensure project continuity.
You’re the kind of person who:
- Wants to gain relevant experience while studying
- Follows through on tasks and can work independently
- Is comfortable with deadlines, reporting, and online communication
- Has a genuine interest in marketing, branding, content, or digital work
- Is proactive about improving their situation, both financially and professionally
Bonus points if:
- You have experience with tools like Canva, WordPress, Notion, or basic design/marketing platforms
- You’ve participated in university associations, student boards, or campus organizations
- You have public outreach experience — through social media, event organization, or community engagement
- You’ve done volunteer work, online freelancing, or contributed to student-led projects
- You’re interested in staying in the Netherlands post-graduation and want to start building your local experience now
